Mapping Arrival Curves to Bangkok Shift Bands

Shift roster pages next to a hand-drawn arrival curve

Arrival curves for Thai contact centers often peak mid-morning, soften through lunch, and rise again in late afternoon when customers finish work. Evening part-time bands cover a different mix of inquiry types—billing follow-ups and delivery questions are common.

Plot offered contacts by half-hour against rostered productive seats. Mark training blocks and team meetings; those intervals look staffed on paper while the queue still waits.

Overnight bands need their own baseline. Do not average them into the daytime curve. A modest overnight abandon rate can hide a single understaffed hour that damages next-day callbacks.

Bring the interval chart to roster planning with one question: which three intervals lose the most service level for the seats you already pay for? Fix those before adding headcount.
